The importance of strong and resilient health systems to end the tuberculosis (TB) epidemic is clear. Effective and sustainable TB control relies on well-functioning primary health care to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease. For this reason, The Global TB Report 2020 calls for 25% of total TB funding to be spent on health systems strengthening.
